Innovate Africa Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2015, committed to building informed, empowered, and economically resilient communities across Africa. We work at the intersection of entrepreneurship, governance, and data — helping people access opportunities, strengthen livelihoods, and actively shape the decisions that affect their lives. Our approach is practical, community-driven, and focused on lasting impact.
Our Impact
Since 2015, Innovate Africa Foundation has worked with communities, entrepreneurs, and institutions across Africa to expand opportunity, strengthen systems, and drive locally led change.

Theory of change
We believe that when individuals and communities are equipped with the right skills, supported by strong institutions, and empowered with access to information and data, they are better able to improve their livelihoods, participate in decision-making, and shape their own development. Through our work in sustainable livelihoods and climate resilience, governance and social accountability, and data, research, and innovation, we create pathways for inclusive, sustainable, and community-led change.
